Walesca Davila has been a Fogelman associate since 2018,  This March, she became ill with COVID-19.  In early April, Walesca's condition worsened, and she was admitted to the ICU where she continues to receive treatment.  Though she has made progress, Walesca still has a road to recovery ahead.  After over a month in the hospital, Walesca is now awaiting transfer to a pulmonary rehabilitation facility, where she will work to improve her lung function and strength.

Fogelman associates demonstrate personal concern for each other. Fighting a serious illness is exhausting, physically and emotional, and it is expensive. The costs of emergency room visits, hospital stays, medications, and rehabilitative care accumulate quickly. There are also additional expenses after medical care concludes.
