Hello wonderful Fogcutter community,
As I know you are all aware, the COVID disaster has hit the events and hospitality industry incredibly hard. Due to the COVID-related gaps in our schedule currently, our hourly prep and event staff are facing an extremely difficult next few months as they they lose a huge amount of event-related work from our company.
We know that all of you have seen a ton of these GoFundMes for other wonderful hospitality organizations in the Bay Area. However, we're asking all of our wonderful past clients and supporters to consider leaving a "retroactive tip" for our staff, as any extra income right now will help them supplement their unemployment. Any amount is appreciated, and will be split evenly between our team members.
We have experienced no more gut wrenching feeling than having to lay off our talented staff knowing that no other restaurants, caterers, or event producers are hiring right now. Please give what you can, if you are able to!
