Hi!  My name is Foday Saidykhan. I moved to Canada 4 years ago from The Gambia, West Africa.  I love Gambian people so much and now I want to give back.  Can you help me support Single Mother's Scheme, an organization started by and for Gambian women? It gives skills and business training that will allow mothers to be independent and support their children. They learn to make soaps and other beauty products, chairs made from recycled tires, and they can also learn to do hair and make-up.  It costs about $200 for a mother to be registered and complete a 3 month program.  This covers registration fees, materials and transportation costs. COVID 19 has hit the tourism industry in Gambia very hard and there will be so much suffering this year.
