My foal's secondary complications of NMS hospital bills

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Janet and on Friday June 13th my mare gave birth to my first foal. She was born at approximately 5:30 am and was noticeably slow to get going. Off the bat she had difficulty nursing, with a poor suckle reflex and was unable to stand up without assistance. For the next few hours she made some small but hopeful progress after being seen by the local vet and being fed every 40 minutes. Unfortunately by Saturday she had began to show signs of a head tilt and was having a very hard time balancing even with help and the decision was made to send her to OVC. Upon being admitted to OVC she showed some positive heath signs but they suspected she was experiencing a secondary complication of NMS (neonatal maladjustment syndrome).
While in OVC she is receiving 24/7 supportive care with fluids, nutritional support and seizure monitoring in the ICU.
As of today (Tuesday June 17th) we got the promising news that she is able to nurse and stand with the assistance of someone helping her stand up for periods of time! Although she has made many positive steps in recovery in the few days in the ICU she will still need medical assistance currently and the emergency bills have added up very quickly.
The estimated cost at OVC upon admission was $4500 for the first 24 hours and then $2000 - $2500 per day while in ICU. I am hoping through friends and family to be able to raise funds to cover a portion of her bills as they rapidly increase during her stay at OVC during this unexpected emergency.
