On Monday morning, March 2nd, my sister Renee was in a traumatic car accident. The car behind her on the freeway clipped the driver's side bumper sending her car spiraling out of control and then flipping multiple times.
Renee is an LVN (licensed vocational nurse) currently working part time to allow her to go to school to get her BSN to finally create the life she has always dreamed of creating for her 5 year old son, my nephew Christian.
Unfortunately, she does not have health insurance because she is working part-time now. Renee is going to need multiple doctors visits and an unknown amount of medical treatment for her injuries.
Her car is completely totaled, as you can see from the photo. She did not have full-coverage insurance which means she will have to foot the cost of replacing her car. She has no savings and has been living pay check to pay check to survive and support her son.
If you know Renee, you know that she dedicates her life to helping others. For the last five years, she has put her needs and desires aside to raise her son, and care for her patients.
Renee needs us desperately right now to help her get through this hard time. And she needs to know that she has people that are by her side in this that she can rely on.
