IN A BLINK OF AN EYE! Every day we awake to a world of the unknown. We are so accustomed to a certain life style that many times we take it for granted, not really knowing that today will be different. In a blink of an eye, is how quickly we can find ourselves in disbelief. Life is so fragile that the smallest thing can turn our world upside down.
As I sit here trying to collect my thoughts, I say a little prayer. “God thank you for my life and for my family. Please give me the strength to take on this challenge that I’m faced with today. I pray that you comfort my husband in this time of need. To protect him and give him the strength needed to a complete and healthy recovery”. AMEN!
Family, friends and people of the community, today our hearts are aching with pain and disbelief. As my family and I gather in shock, thinking this can’t be real. My husband Ignacio Flores has been medically diagnosed with an illness that currently has him in a comma fighting for his life. Ignacio was air lifted to Aurora Colorado where he is receiving treatment. He is facing a 50/50 chance of living.
Ignacio “Nacho” is 40 years old and was born and raised in Las Vegas NM. Ignacio is brother to five siblings, a father of two beautiful girls and a loving husband. Nacho is well known in his community and surrounding towns for his upbeat personality, motivation for fitness and his love for motorcycles and cars. We currently reside in Santa Fe NM. Our careers are what brought us to this city were my husband currently is working for the Department of Corrections.
We the Flores/Romero family come to you with hope that you will open your hearts and say a prayer for my husband through this moment of hardship. With great generosity, we would significantly appreciate any and all donations at this time.
All donations will be used for all medical expenses necessary for a successful recovery. My family and I are from New Mexico and are currently staying in Aurora Colorado where my husband is being treated. Within a timely matter, all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you all for the support.
