Hi everyone. In the picture is a dear friend of mine who works, like the rest of us, exceedingly hard for his family and would do anything in the world for them. To his right is his father before his life-altering stroke, which left him bedridden and unable to move or speak. He has been in the hospital in Baltimore for over a month, and there have only been some slight improvements in some eye movements. He is being tube fed to receive nutrients, and we are not sure how much he is aware of his surroundings. Now there is bleeding on the brain and an infection detected.

As bills are mounting, the wife is trying to juggle time at the hospital and time at home caring for her mom, who lives with them due to her dementia diagnosis. They are both retired and have Medicare; however, we know there are caps on how many days they will cover hospital stays, leaving the family with the remaining balance that is adding up. Their son is picking up extra shifts and trying all means possible to send them extra funds, but one person, one family, can only do so much.

The family and myself, on their behalf, are asking, pleading quite honestly, for any small amounts as they all add up to assist. Any and all would be generously appreciated to help offset the stress the family is currently experiencing. God Bless and thank you for considering this cause.
