Hello to anyone who reads this!
My name is Lisa Black and I created this GoFundMe for my partner, James Harrell IV, who recently had a stroke (Jan 5th) and lost the use of his entire right side. He will be in the hospital rehabilitation center until early to mid-February.
James needs help to keep his home and pay his utilities while he is in rehabilitation. At this time, it is unclear what the timeline for recovery will be.
James has to relearn to walk, write, and speak. He will have weekly PT, OT, and Speech Therapy when he is released from the inpatient rehabilitation center at the hospital.
Donations would go towards James' bills and rent for February and March; anything above our goal amount would go towards buying any assistive devices that James would need to regain his independence. In addition to help pay for all therapy needed once he is able to leave the hospital.
As James progresses and we have a clear idea of the timeline to recovery will be, we will update the fundraiser. Thank you all for your support!
James is a wonderful dad to two great kids and is loved by many people. We would all like to ask for support in James' recovery.
