Help Jess Kick Cancer in the Face

Donation protected
This past July Jessica Lynn Whitaker was diagnosed
with stage 2 B Hodgkin's Lymphoma, after more than a month of testing trying to figure out why she was coughing so much and what the small lump on her neck was.

Her and her fortress of a life partner, Alex were in the  middle of planning a move to New Zealand. They had been saving for the better part of a year and were nearly close to setting sail.

Jess was also in the process of finishing her Bachelor's degree.

Both of these dreams have been put on hold.

Jess has been unable to work work regularly while going through chemo. Unexpected bills came up due to insurance issues and having to switch hospitals in the middle of treatment for the pneumonia she got just before Christmas last year.

However, things are looking hopeful. Jess has just 3 more chemo treatments left and her last PET scan results looked promising. The tumor in her neck is totally gone but she does have some remaining indications of tumors in her chest.

Please, help our friend Jess kick the last bit of cancer out of her body. Help her and Alex recover the awesome life they have built together.

In case you have stumbled upon this page and have never had the pleasure of meeting Jess, here are some awesome things friends have to say about her

"Jess has a beautifully unique way about her. I saw it in her when we met and to this day, she has continued to be someone I strive to learn from. I can also open up to her without hesitation. I've never felt so accepted by another person. Jess' words are always intentional and genuine. I admire her on many levels and I've learned a lot about what it means to be loving, kind, grounded and focused. In her, I've gained a sister and a life-long friend."

"I've know Jess for years, through many stages of my life - but she has always been a safe haven, a bright light in my life. Someone that keeps me equally grounded as excited for new adventures. I am honored to have her in my life and even more honored that she wants me in hers. What an amazing friend, so proud to know her."

" Jess is a soft spoken, intelligent and kind person. She is the kind of friend who always be there to sit with you in times of crisis. She is a master collaborator. She is creative and genuine."
