Hi my name is David Sell and I am a Social Worker here in Dallas, TX. I am fundraising so I can travel to Spokane, Washington to say goodbye to my beloved father Harvey Joseph Sell. He has been in a wonderful memory care facility for the past 5 years or so and recently fell out of his wheelchair and landed face-first on the hard floor. 

He was transferred to a hospital and upon examination, they discovered several broken bones in his face and a CAT scan revealed a deep brain bleed. He also reaggravated a prior neck injury. The doctor stated that he likely won't make it out of the hospital due to sustained injuries, and severe kidney and heart disease. The doctor stated that hospice would be the next step if he can be stabilized.

Unfortunately, I have experienced my own medical emergencies since a heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery in 2020 and have struggled to pay those bills since I had no insurance at the time. This has made it very difficult to save any real money for emergencies such as what my dad is experiencing. 

Unfortunately my father passed away on Saturday, New Years Eve and i didn't get to say goodbye. But the funds raised will help me travel to Las Vegas, NV(for a celebration of his life), pay for lodging, basic living expenses, and my rent while I'm gone. Also will help with my inevitable missed wages.
