Please Help Brian and Joyce

Brian was diagnosed with liver disease in October, 2016. He became so ill that he was unable to continue working and, with that, he lost his medical insurance. Since then, Brian has been hospitalized at least 15 times. Because he had no insurance, he was refused the treatment he needed desperately. Joyce was finally able to put him on her health insurance in July, 2017. Due to the failure of our system to provide Brian with the treatment necessary to cure his liver disease, his liver became much worse and he now has to have a liver transplant. To meet transplant guidelines, Brian has extensive testing, procedures and doctor appointments weekly. He has 8 medications that he takes daily and a very strict diet.
The medical bills thus far amount to just over $30,000 and that does not include the expenses for the transplant or the current appointments and testing.
We believe that the transplant will take place in July or August. Brian has been told that based on his current condition he will be in the top 5 of the transplant list. After the transplant he will have extensive doctor appts for 3 months. At this point we have no idea when he can return to work.
It is difficult for our family to ask for help, but to help Brian we must. Currently we are waiting on Social Security Disability to approve monthlupayments to Brian. We have lived the past 17 months on 1 pay check.
Please give what you can. No amount is too little. Please know that we appreciate whatever you can do for us.
