Helping Jeff Recover

My good friend, brother firefighter, and driver of my ambulance crew was injured in an accident that has left him with a minor TBI (traumatic brain injury). After 5 days in Stony Brook he has been released to recover at home. He has a slow road to recovery and will not be able to work for some time while he lets his brain heal and continue therapy. Though he has insurance, he still has some considerable expenses to bare from the treatment and his usual bills to keep up with.  Jeff is a volunteer with the Riverhead Fire Department and the Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance. He is always there to help others and now I’m hoping we can be there to help him.
