A very dear friend and sidekick at work, Karen has been at the hospital for over a week with her husband Lamar. We have no idea how long she will be and what fate has in store for them. If he has surgery it will be a tough recovery. I am hoping to raise enough money to cover a few weeks of her pay that pays the bills and also give them some extra to help pay for gas and food while he is in the hospital. I love this woman and her family and I don't want to see them suffer for something they have no control over and she doesn't want to leave his side. Every little bit helps and I am not asking for much. It will be more appreciated than anyone will ever realize by this family and me.
