Hounds Family - Coach Sid

I’m calling for our Hounds Family to come together and support one of their own. As you may know, Coach Sid recently lost his father, Elias Rodriguez. This is a very difficult time for them as they say goodbye to their father, grandfather, mentor and friend.
Dealing with this loss comes an extreme financial hardship that was not only unexpected, but falls during the holidays as well. Funeral expenses happen all at once, with little to no preparation, and can add to the emotional toll which the family is already carrying. Coach would love nothing more than to honor his late father’s final wishes by laying him to rest in the manner he deserves.
Whether you can donate with a monetary contribution, or a kind smile, I know that Coach’s family would appreciate any additional love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers as you reflect on the countless hours the Rodriguez family selflessly gives to our kids and to the basketball program - Nora keeping stats, planning summer camp and always showing up to cheer our kids on with her big warm smile. Sid there to guide, coach and support the physical and emotional well being of the team. And their kids- playing their hearts out on the court and then cheering from the stands. This amazing family continues to show up for us all, even in their darkest days.
“Hounds Family” support wrist bands can be picked up at Friday’s home game, 12/22, at the entrance table. Coach’s team plays at 5:00pm at the Atascadero High School gym, located at 1 High School Hill Rd, Atascadero.
