In Loving Memory of Alex Nemeth – Funeral & Final Expenses

Hello, my name is Danielle, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear mother, Tracey.

On May 23rd, our beloved Alex Nemeth—my stepfather—passed away peacefully. His passing was sudden, and our family is heartbroken and still in shock.

Just a few short weeks ago, Alex was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer that had already spread to his lungs and bones. We were actively exploring treatment options and coordinating care when, on Tuesday, May 19th, his health took a sharp and unexpected turn. He was admitted to the hospital the next morning, and tragically, he was with us only a short while longer.

Because of how quickly everything progressed, there was no time to plan or prepare for what came next.

We are humbly asking for any support during this difficult time to help cover end-of-life expenses, including cremation costs, some travel needs, and basic financial support for my mom. She was Alex’s tireless caregiver and advocate throughout his illness and now faces this devastating loss while trying to navigate the many tasks that follow a loved one’s passing.

Alex was on disability, and my mom will need to take some time off work to grieve and manage the necessary arrangements. Unfortunately, there was no life insurance or financial cushion to fall back on, and we want to ease her burden in the days and weeks ahead.

Asking for help in this way is incredibly difficult, but we are leaning on the strength of our amazing family and community. Any contribution, no matter how small, means so much to us.
