Give the Gift of Hope

No parent ever wants to receive the news, “Your child has cancer.” However, according to the Texas Cancer Annual Registry’s annual report, an estimated 2000 Texas children under the age of 19 will be diagnosed with cancer every year. Pediatric Cancer wrecks the lives of children! As the child goes through treatment to fight off the cancer, the road to recovery is usually long and complicated. Because of this, we are raising money for a local DFW charity: The Children’s Cancer Fund.

The Children’s Cancer Fund works closely with local hospitals (Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center) to provide care and support for local pediatric cancer patients. The charity works to improve the patient’s quality of life both in and out of the hospital by funding Child Life specialists and by hosting fun social events throughout the year. The charity also helps fund lifesaving research into treatments for pediatric cancer.

We aim to raise $500 to support the Children’s Cancer Fund. Your donations to this campaign will help to improve the lives of local pediatric cancer patients and help to develop better treatment options with the hope of finding a cure one day!
