Dreams really do come true!

Many of you may not know me. My name is Tegan. I’ve been playing softball since I was 5 years old and my love for the game has only grown since. I’ll be a junior in high school this coming school year. I’m a two-year letterman in softball and student athletic training. I work part-time and babysit. I do all of this and still carry a 4.0 GPA.
Recently, I was given the amazing opportunity to represent the USA through ABSA’s (American Based Sports Abroad) Team USA, Team Rip-It. The team will play games in the Dominican Republic, as ambassadors for softball, do community service, and give back to the less fortunate. Our trip will be during Christmas Break. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is a dream come true.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to go. Being a minor, one of my parents will need to travel with me, thus doubling the expenses. The expenses include tour fees, airfare, and incidentals. This time of year, airfare is very expensive. My goal is $12,000. If you help me surpass my goal, all proceeds beyond $12,000 will go towards purchasing new softball equipment for players in the Dominican Republic.
Thank you for your generosity, I greatly appreciate you.
