Hello, I am Angela Short, the daughter of Roger Short. We’ve recently had some bad news regarding my father. He has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that spread into his bones. I am taking care of him and his medical care on my own while also working my job. We are facing multiple challenges and decisions that are extremely hard to make in moving forward with his care. As we all know, medication can be extremely expensive, even after insurance costs. My father's fixed income is just high enough that he cannot qualify for Medicaid. If we can not move forward with his treatments, he will be forced into comfort care or hospice, which is not a route that we would like to take right now. We believe he still has a lot of fight left so we are asking for help in any way that we can. The smallest donation is still a big help to us.
