What cancer ?

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer and every donation will help.

Joe was diagnosed on the 5th November two days before his 14th birthday with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and very challenging cancer. At diagnosis, the cancer had spread through every bone in his body . He has stage 4 metastatic Ewing sarcoma, which is the most challenging one to cure or ever send in to remission. Joe has undergone 14 sessions of chemotherapy along with 32 sessions of daily radiotherepy , Joe finshed that first treatment 8 months later. He then had the challenge of trying to return back to normal with all the changes he had with his body and the effects of treatment . He then started with pain again, just 4 short months of finishing treatment. Our heart sank, and we knew the cancer had returned. He had relapsed, and it was back through his body. We were then back to hospital life Joe had high dose chemo he had 6 sessions of that and the we was put on a trial of high dose chemo ans stem cell retreaval and transplant with the hope to keep it away even longer this time . He's spent 9 weeks in hospital, and it was very gruelling treatment the hardest to date. We have got to hold to him, making a bright future he's an amazing, super strong lad full of determination. It's truly inspiring how my cousin (Joe) at such a young age deals with his cancer and how he goes about his life.

we feel as a family this is one of 2 charities that has had the biggest impact on my cousin and family

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
