This past week, our dear Sara was the victim of a car theft. While no one is ever expecting this, and it would be a tragedy and hardship under the best of circumstances, Sara's livelihood is tied to her car. She spends countless hours in it every week traveling throughout SC and GA to care for the moms and babies who trust her with their pregnancies and deliveries. All of her professional/medical supplies were stored there, ready to go at a moment's notice if called to a birth, and are now gone.

To all who know her, Sara is not just a midwife, but a part of the family - Auntie Sara to our kids (most of whom she has probably delivered earthside herself). She is the first one to build up others, whether it be the moms she cares for, or other birth professionals in the area. Every June she hosts her picnic in Bluffton that brings together the birth community, and connects professionals in the birth space with families like yours and mine, advocating for everyone's success and visibility.

Sara has gone to the ends of the earth for many of us moms and our babies, and now it is our turn to take care of her. Please join us in helping Sara rebuild by contributing whatever amount is possible for you - together we can get her back on the road!
