Assistance for my Sister!

On Aug. 25th Rita was advised that she has Stage 2 IDC which is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a hormone-induced carcinoma. Saddened by the news, to say the least, she has been overwhelmed with information & continued testing/appointments for her condition. She has been devasted by the news and realizes the life-or-death matter of her decisions going forward. She says, this is a new unfamiliar battle that she must face and is asking God & His Divine workers to help in this battle.

As an independent contractor, her upcoming surgeries will require being off work for at least 2 months without paid leave. This will incur extra expenses during this time.

We are asking everyone to give whatever they can give. Medical fees will be extensive for the most part and will be taken care of through insurance.

However, there will be a lot of travel time from Brunswick to Jacksonville. 1 1/2 hr. one-way several times a week, with food & accommodations, and out-of-pocket medical & prescription expenses incurred during this time of healing. Other expenses need help with a car note, car insurance, and utilities.

Please pray and allow God to place in your heart the gift amount no amount is too little, to reach the goal of $9K to help defray additional costs, bills, travel & gas.

The surgery will be sometime in September this year, as time is of the essence.

I met Rita in 2016 at a local non-profit, where we were both board members, her sweet spirit connected with mine and we hit it off right away. We became sisters and I have adopted her into my family, she is the auntie of all my children and grandchildren.

She has been a great massage therapist to me, my husband, my son, and son in law. She has helped my grandson with his skin condition with her skin products along with other family members through their emotional traumas in therapy sessions using the emotion code therapy that she is certified in.

My sister continues to grow and always wants to help others my hat goes off to her and my support will always be with her!!!

What amazes me about Rita is her life and all she has accomplished. She is a Great Grandmaster of her Martial Arts System Ken Wing Tai Ba. She has been studying, training, and teaching for 42 years.

She is a massage therapist in the healing industry working in the Brunswick, Georgia community for 8 years and California for 9 years, & Reiki Master for a total of 17 years. She has and has trained children in Martial Arts here in the Brunswick area.
