Medical Expenses for Samantha Beck

Anyone who knows me knows that asking for help isn't what I do. However, we're now at a point where its needed.
I have multiple pulmonary embolism's (blood clots) in my lung. We're not entirely sure why as of yet, but the guess is that they were caused by my oral contraception. I spent 3 days in the ICU in Burin, NL and now I'm currently being transfered in ambulance to St. John's for specialists. As of right now, all we know is that I'm in critical condition. My husband is following behind us in our own car, and our son is well taken care of by family.
Even though medical isn't much in Newfoundland, we are both missing too much work to make bills. I've already missed a week and a half, and I'm being told that I will be in St. John's for at least 7 days, which means another week off work minimum and a week for my husband as well. Plus expenses of being in a different city are rough as well.
