Help Rebuild Lives After Hurricanes Helene and Milton
Donation protected
Hi there!
My name is Meg Levine and I was born and raised in Florida. Growing up in St. Pete, Florida, hurricane season was just part of our lives. The occasional scare would lead us to board up our windows, sit in the living room, and eat ravioli from a can while our power blew. When you're young, comprehending the gravity of these massive storms is difficult. Connecting the images of devastation on the news to the storms brushing by us was difficult. It wasn't until I moved to NYC four years ago that I saw the bigger picture.
We are in a climate crisis. These storms are becoming bigger and more frequent. The recent impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton have demonstrated this. Communities barely had a chance to get back on their feet before hunkering down for the threat of yet another Category 5 hurricane.
Millions lost power, property, and treasured possessions. Many lost loved ones and pets. While some of what was lost is irreplaceable, there is still so much support we can offer as these communities start to rebuild.
Any little bit of support helps and will supplement the profits from the Music for Milton Concert. Funds will be evenly distributed across Florida and North Carolina relief efforts, with documentation to be provided upon the official donations.
