Little Mikelle needs our help and prayers.
After 8 years of marriage and confirmations from various doctors that my friend who is more my family Zian would not be able to conceive, she and her husband DInesh were blessed with a very precious baby girl. She was born at 24 weeks (16 weeks premature), weighing 630gms on 28th February (only 5% babies are born at or under 26 weeks). Little Mikelle was rushed straight into the neo natal intensive care (NICU), where she was put on a ventilator to help her breathe, she developed a bleed on the brain and a murmur in her heart. Our little fighter has been in the NICU since then and would continue to be there until she reaches her optimal discharge weight of 1.8kgs provided she has no other complication's. Being based in the UAE, medical coverage is very high and they are expected to be given an exorbitant bill of around AED 500,000 (USD 140k) upon her discharge.
Along with the rollercoaster of emotions and stress of a mirco preemie, I would like to help alleviate some of the financial strain on them. Please give what you can; no amount is too little. Please keep Mikelle and her parents in prayer. For those of you that would like updates on Mikelle’s progress and recovery; please drop me an email and I will be happy to fill you in. Please share this fundraiser with all your family and friends, with multiple shares we can help make a difference.
For transparency purposes, i will be withdrawing the campaign amount less portal fees and bank transfering it to Zian Loreno (this is because she is not a resident in Canada). I will attach evidence of withdrawals and proof of transfer to Zian.
With Love and Peace, Natascha
