In October I’ll be running the Ann Arbor Marathon in honor of Kylie. Kylie always pushed herself to follow her dreams and did everything with a smile on her face. I was so excited when she joined the cross country team senior year and even though I had been running for many years, I looked up to her because she always made sure she was having fun, even when she was running a race. When I cross the finish line, I’ll be thinking of her and be sure to have a smile across my face, like she always did.

Leading up to the marathon, I’ll be fundraising for Fly like Kylie, a scholarship to celebrate Kylie and to accelerate the flight training of women like her to help them follow their dreams.
