My name is Hayden, and I am a pilot with a deep passion for animal rescue. Recently, I had the opportunity to volunteer for a rescue mission, and the experience changed my life. Seeing animals in high-capacity shelters, knowing that their chances for survival were slim, inspired me to take action. I realized that with my skills as a pilot, I could make a real difference by transporting animals long distances in a single day—something that would be nearly impossible by car. Our central valley animal shelters are heavily overcrowded and adoptions are at an all time low. My goal is to rescue as many animals possible and get them to rescues, fosters, and no-kill shelters all over the state of California and possibly even neighboring states.

The cat in the photo is one I recently rescued and flew to safety. She is a semi-feral cat that was living in extremely unsafe conditions near Redlands, her life was at risk due to coyotes and many other predators. She was moved to a new home in the town of Lincoln to become a barn cat where she can live her life safely and peacefully. Her journey is just one example of the lives that can be saved through these missions. I want to continue these life-saving flights, rescuing animals from kill shelters and flying them to safety and loving homes, shelters and rescues. However, the costs involved are significant. Fuel, airplane rental fees, crates, and other transport essentials quickly add up, making it difficult to sustain these missions on my own. Every dollar raised will go directly toward these expenses, ensuring that more animals get a second chance at life.
