Fly-fishing World Junior Championships

Hi there, my name is John Ashe and I am Ethan Ashe’s dad. Ethan has been given the incredible opportunity to represent Ireland at this years World Junior Fly Fishing Championship Finals in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Last June, Ethan came first at the All Ireland Championship and he has now qualified to go compete for Ireland at the World Finals.

We are all so proud of his achievement but to get him to the competition is going to cost a fair bit of money. We are hoping to raise his competition entry fees, flights, accommodation and lodgings. He has had lots of help with his equipment and many of you who know him have chipped in already, thank you. He is a star in the making and we would love to see him return home with the win for Ireland.

He stands a very good chance of winning this year and has worked hard on the river learning new patterns and systems. So we are inviting you join us in helping him get to Monstar, Bosnia and cheering him on. And as they say in Tesco, Every little helps.
