Fly Sri Lankan Street Dog 'Betty' Home to UK

Hi, my name is Mollie and I am hoping to raise some funds to put towards flying Betty-Hope to the United Kingdom from Sri Lanka in August/September 2023. Betty is a Sri Lankan Street Dog and was found as a puppy abandoned in a car park; emaciated with parasites, mange and an injured leg in February 2023 whilst my parents and I were on holiday. Without a second thought we took Betty on the remainder of our trip before dropping her off with Lucie (@whereslucie) at Animal SOS Sri Lanka (@animal_sos_srilanka) who has been caring for Betty and helping us plan to fly her back to the UK. This is a very expensive process, which includes vet bills, strict rabies vaccination and testing protocol, travel documents, expenses associated with boarding her with Lucie for the last few months and various other processes which in total is likely to exceed £5k.

I do not anticipate we will even come close to the £3k target, however anything helps and gets us one step closer to getting this beautiful girl home to us.
