Fly our Jay of high with the finest send-off

On Friday, October 21st, we received a call informing us that Jamie had died, only to discover that our Jay had been murdered in his own home. This has come as a complete shock to everyone, leaving many people heartbroken that we never see Jay again; all we have is now our memories.

Those who knew Jamie agree that he was the most genuine, big-hearted, bubbly lad who would do anything for anyone. Jamie would greet you with the biggest smile, whether you were family, a friend, a child, or even a stranger. He would introduce himself to anyone and make everyone feel welcome, no matter where he was or who they were.

Jamie was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, but most importantly, he was a DAD; he was the definition of a FATHER who loves his son Riley. Jamie made it clear to everyone how much he loves his son, and regularly, people comment on how much love he has for his son. Jamie would show everyone images of Riley and talk about how much he loves him and how everything he does is for Riley. Say Jamie adored his kid, Riley felt the same way; they were best friends. When Jamie and Riley were together, they wore matching clothing and were utterly inseparable; their relationship was pure unadulterated love.

As heartbreaking as it is for all of Jamie's loved ones, Jamie's son Riley now has to live with the reality that his father will never return. Those who know our Jay will know how much it would mean to jay to protect this little boy and support his family on his behalf.

Jamie loved life, and for someone to take it away from him is heartbreaking.

JAMIE WOULD NOT WANT TO BE UP IN HEAVEN BECAUSE HIS LIFE WAS WITH US ALL; HE LOVED LIFE.

Jamie's family would like him to be buried so that he may be visited regularly by all of us. If Jamie could, he would attempt to see everyone every day. "He could never sit still." This will also be Riley's first Christmas without his father.

We have chosen to use GoFundMe to raise as much money as possible to give our Jay the send-off he deserves, with all his loved ones present. Every penny raised will go towards his burial and help give his son the best Christmas he deserves.
