Do you know who cleans your desk area each night and empties your trash can? Marcus does. Do you know who cleans up after our lunches every day in the break trailer? Marcus does. Do you know who is constantly taking care of each and every one of us behind the scenes, making sure that our coffee mugs are clean when we get here in the morning, working long hours, and always with a smile on his face? Marcus does!
Marcus, our cleaner at RVA, recently lost his uncle in Liberia whom he was extremely close with and we (individuals not DPR as a company) would like to raise money for him to have the opportunity to go home for the holiday's (or soon after depending on his ability to find a ticket in time and take the appropriate amount of time off) to see his family and possibly even be there for his uncle's funeral.
Flights from Richmond, VA to Liberia run from $3,000 to $7,900 depending on when the flight is and how many stops it has to make. It would be amazing to put each of our good fortunes to use to help our friend in a time of sadness. Please donate what you can to help us Get Marcus Home for the Holidays, and his uncle's funeral!
