Fly In Power

Fly in Power  follows the death of Yang Song, a Chinese migrant massage parlor worker who fell to her death during a police raid, to the present work of APIA and Asian migrant sex worker activists and labor rights activists in North America. The documentary will examines the history of discriminatory policies against Asian Women, from the Page Act of 1875 to the present day targeted policing of Asian migrant massage workers, disclosing the systemic and targeted violence against this silenced community of women.

Your donations will go towards supporting the outreach and stories of Asian migrant massage and/or sex workers!!

We plan to hire Asian migrant workers to film their own stories and messages of needs and concerns. By purchasing easy recording devices and paying workers for their participation, we can ensure that they hold agency over representation and privacy.

The Fly In Power Team consists of Yin Q, Grace Naw, and Kate Zen and other APIA, Queer, SexWorker, and/or femme or non-binary identified crew.

We are so grateful for your support in uplifting one of the most vulnerable communities of women.
