UPDATE
Thank you all for the overwhelming support. Within less than an hour the original goal to fly me home was met and already exceeded by several hundred dollars. I am now safe in St. Louis and here to support my mom and our family.
Any extra donations will be given to my parents to offset medical expenses. I have had several ask to donate extra for this reason, so I am leaving the page open. Please continue to keep my mom and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

This past week my mother was hospitalized in St. Louis and this morning moved to ICU where she is currently undergoing dialysis. Doctor's are not certain of the exact cause of what is going on, but are working hard to save her. Bottom line: I need to go home to be with her and my family. When talking to my sister about how crazy airline prices are right now she suggusted making a gofundme page and eventually talked me into it. So here we are. As most of you know, I live and teach in Arizona now. I moved out here with no relocation assistance from my district and Arizona has the worst teacher pay in the country, needless to say a 570 dollar  ticket is a lot for me at this time. Anything you can give to help would be greatly appreciated. And most of all, keep my mom and family in your thoughts and prayers.
