As most of you know, and for those who don't,
Flushdyke kennels are really struggling (as most kennels are, expect the large well known ones)
They get no funding from anyone and the counsel only payd a stray for seven days and after those seven days, the payments stops as they classify of them as pets of the kennels.
They do not have any charity status, which means they will not get any large donations or sponsorships or awareness of their struggles.
The kennel is only owned by one woman, who is trying to pay for everything herself using her own savings and support from her elderly parents to try to keep the kennel running. She works 7 days a week and is struggling significantly.
I believe it is everyone's responsibility as a community to help keep the dogs fed, warm, dry and well looked after.
This is what this go fund me is for, to help support those poor dogs live a happy and healthy life at flushdyke kennels until they find their forever home.
Once the target is achieved, the money will be used to help the kennel get anything that they need at the time of withdrawal. The needs of the dogs change week to week, so it will depend on the requirements that time.
The fund will cover key things like food, gastro medications, vet care for sick or injured dogs, raised beds, warming tablets, flea treatments and much more.
We need to treat these poor unwanted homeless puppies and dogs as if they were our own pets and get them the basic fundamentals that's expected for any living creature in this world. It's not the dogs fault that someone terrible heartlessly abandoned them one random day.
The dogs need all of us to take care them as a loving caring community, not just to be ignored behing closed doors because they are in a kennel. I believe that every dog there should see everyone in the community as their owner.
My dream is to make their kennels as nice as possible, with high awareness and suppose we see with well known and popularised kennels on tv, because that is what they deserve.
Thank you for each and everyone one of you that donates, even if it's only a pound, one pound goes a long way to giving a poor abandoned dog a happy and loved life
