About us!
We’re producing a new theatre show, Fluent in God, and we need your help to bring it to the stage.
The project began with Lilly Rose Zepeda, the show’s writer and performer, a recent graduate of the MFA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She joined forces with producers Elisa Pedraza Sanchez and Jaclyn Fulton, both current Producing students at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. The team quickly connected over a shared passion for creating theatre that centers women’s voices. We're now getting ready to officially bring this play to life for the very first time.
All money from the fundraiser will go to paying our team and physical production costs. We're very excited to be headed to Riverside Studios this May 10th and could not do it without your help!
A little bit more about our show:
Fluent in God tells the story of Cassandra, the prophet cursed by Apollo always to speak the truth but never be believed. Condemned to witness catastrophe without the power to stop it, Cassandra watches the fall of Troy and the violence that follows.
Drawing from The Trojan Women by Euripides and Agamemnon by Aeschylus, the play explores the blurred boundaries between prophecy, memory, and reality. Through Cassandra’s story, the piece asks urgent questions: Who is believed? Who is sacrificed? Who gets to survive in the stories history tells?
Cassandra emerges not only as a mythic figure but as a collective voice for silenced women around the world, those who have been dismissed, ignored, or punished for what they know.
Your support will help us bring Fluent in God to life and uplift a team of emerging women theatre-makers. Every donation helps us move closer to the stage.
Now, more than ever, it is important to make space for women's stories and voices that have long been silenced. We are a female-led team, and we pride ourselves on creating a space where these voices can thrive. We believe there is a collective social responsibility to empower women to speak out and to transform audiences through our work.
Thank you for supporting new work and rising female creatives!
