Floyd’s 68 Ford XL cancer build (shh don’t tell)

This is a a SECRET BUILD SO KEPT IT ON THE DOWN LOW!!!our names are Kevin Gaines and Phillip Castleman. We have been friends with John Scarberry for over 30 years. We all had old cars in High school and some of us kept those cars, but with life they have gone to the back burner. Johns car is a 1968 Ford XL very rare car. His Grandfather bought it new in Memphis and kept it until he gave to Johns dad Floyd. Floyd then gave it to John , he cherished that car for years until life happened. His dad Floyd always wanted to take a ride in that car again and now time os closing in, you see Floyd has cancer and is going down pretty fast. John has taken FLMA from work to stay with his dad and step mother to help make his last days better. Phillip and I have decided to steal the car and take to a local garage, Floyds auto that has donated his time and shop. We are looking to raise $2500 to pay for parts to get the car back on the road so that Floyd can take that last ride. Please help with anything you can. Nothing is to small. We will post pics of the build and the ride once we are done. This is a fast progressive cancer so time is of the essence.
