Noemi and Mathias lost their baby boy in preterm birth at 20 weeks of pregnancy due to stress. On November 21st their upstairs neighbor became mentally unstable (police believe he was under the influence) and proceeded to destroy his condo and in turn, destroyed their home as well. During that time Noemi was 15 weeks pregnant with their son. Thank the heavens above neither of their other children were home at the time. Unfortunately Noemi was home at the time and had to deal with the dramatic events that followed. They encounter water damage inside their house (among other things). As a result, the family was displaced from their home, moving from hotel to hotel to eventually a short term rental, all through the hoilday season and having to use savings meant to purchase a new house. Mathias and Noemi did their best to keep normalcy for their children but the stress mounted as they fought for housing reimbursement from the insurance company.
Sadly, Noemi gave birth to Rohan on December 26th 2022 at 07:58. Rohan's due date would have been May 15th 2023. He would have been a bull (Taurus) . At the time of his birth and death he was 11 inches long and 11.1 ounces. He was the most the most amazing little boy. Mathias remembers holding him and walking him to the window so his little body could feel the warm from the sun. He thought that just maybe he would be able to feel that warmth from the great beyond. They were lucky enough to be with him for two days before we had to let him go. Before they went home from the hospital, Mathias left him with his first toy, a soft and fuzzy puppy and his shirt which Noemi used for their pregnancy photos. She looked so lovely and happy as Mathias took their pictures. They did not want to bury him in a plot of land with strangers so they had his remains cremated. It took about a month to get him home and it was a relieve to have him home. At this moment it isn't clear as to why Noemi and Mathias lost Rohan. But what Mathias knows about him is he never let his mom miss a meal and he loved his sweets. They also found out that Rohan liked classical music and his favorite at the time was "Flight of the Bumblebee." Mathias, Noemi, their sister, brother, nephew, niece went to the Trans-Siberia orchestra before Rohan passed. Through the whole show he did not kick, punch, roll or flip until they played "Flight of the Bumblebee." Today, next to his shrine he has his own print of "Flight of the Bumblebee." They hope he likes it. Oh and fresh candy for him to snack on too. They have so much love for someone they will truly never know. They hope Rohan knows how much his family loves and misses him.
We are asking for some help to take care of some of the debt they acquired during their displacement and loss. Noemi is also crocheting blankets and beanies for other little miracles that don't have a lot of time, as this was a blessing to them during their time at the hospital.
Thank you for reading a little of our story and now you too will remember Rohan for us.
