My name is Katerina Damiano. I'm currently a sophomore in the SUNY Purchase BFA Film Program. I'm hoping to raise funds for my budget for my thesis film, Flowerman.

Flowerman is a film that follows Misha, a middle aged married man. Misha and his wife are struggling to cope with the recent news that he is infertile. But, amongst the pain and confusion Misha is facing in his life and marriage, he finds an escape: an undying love for flowers.

This is a story of pain, loss, hope and mainly, love. On a path of finding clarity with himself, and his marriage, Misha becomes Flowerman.

This story is incredibly important for me to tell as I feel at its core, it's a feeling we can all relate to, of finding a flower within a field of weeds.
