Hi, I'm Kate Moon. I found yoga, or yoga found me, just about nine years ago when I made the hardest and best decision of my life - I got sober. It wasn't easy as you can imagine. It was a fight and a struggle every single day, but yoga softened the fight. Yoga became the light in my life and helped me redevelop a relationship with my body, my heart, and my mind. It saved me in so many ways.

In the six years I have now been teaching yoga, I have come to hear so many others' stories of healing through yoga and it inspires me daily on so many levels. I have had the honor of building an incredible community based upon collective and individual healing needs and now it is time to give that community four walls to call our own.

I know within my heart and my gut that this is my path and purpose in life. The banks however can't see my passion, my community, and my vision. I will tell you it is there, it is deep, it is purposeful and it is STRONG.

I was unable to get the funding I needed to make certain projects happen for the opening of this studio, so I am asking for your help. Asking for help doesn't come easy, but it is part of my recovery journey - humbling myself, asking for help when needed, and remembering that I don't have to do this alone. This is a space for all. It is for the community, not for me. So I am asking for the community's help.

By donating, your money will help to create the new entry doors and walkway to the studio that is needed to make the flow of business work: enter into reception, check in for class, drop your things off and enter the studio space to practice. These plans have already been approved by the city, we just need the financial support to bring it to life!

Any little bit helps and please know I am forever grateful for the help. I know this studio will become a safe space for so many persons in our community and I can't wait to share all the magic with everyone.
