I’m doing this go fund me for Florinda because she deserves a hand and she won’t ask for it. She has been rescuing and fostering birds for many years and funds all food and medical costs out of her own pocket. She loves doing it, she loves every bird that comes through her door as if they are her own. She has spent countless nights awake with sick birds, feeding baby birds.

Recently she was asked to take on 2 sick birds and she never hesitated and took them in because she knew she could give them the care they needed and help them recover. They are both doing very well in her care. 

Many carers don’t want to take really sick birds or birds with horrific injuries. Not Florinda, she will always take the sickest and most injured first. If she has one spot left to foster and you offer her a healthy bird and an injured bird and ask her to choose, she will take the injured one. 

She has also bought many birds off gumtree and facebook marketplace who were sick or kept in horrible filthy conditions to save them. This isn’t cheap, to pay for a bird knowing it’s sick or injured then having to pay for medical costs on top. 

Recently life has really kicked her down, she was hospitalised and diagnosed with a medical condition that has ment she has needed to see multiple specialists which has become ongoing and very costly. Then her daughter was hospitalised and diagnosed with a different medical condition which has ment more money spent on specialists and other medical costs. 

So I’m doing this go fund me to help her financially with the daily costs of feeding and medical costs of all birds in her care. You don’t have to donate but if you would like to it would be very much appreciated.
