Florida Times-Union Workers Relief Fund

The workers at The Florida Times-Union have been working diligently to provide our community with the latest news about the coronavirus outbreak. While working, we received notice from our company, Gannett, that it intends to cut our work hours and pay by 25 percent for April, May and June.

Our labor union is requesting to bargain over any possible changes to hours or pay, but in the meantime, our journalists have to cover rent payments, medical bills and monthly expenses. Please support us as we try to take care of our families while working to cover the COVID-19 crisis.
