Florida State Younglife

Hey guys!!!

Over the past semester, I've had the incredible opportunity of becoming a college Younglife leader at Florida State University! If you don't know what Younglife is, the best way I could describe it is a college ministry dedicated to building strong, Christ-centered relationships in our seemingly massive school.

I think we all want people who care about us, ask us questions, and put time into intentionally living life with one another. As a leader, I've had the coolest opportunity of helping provide a space for people to feel known. Somewhere where people know they can be themselves and they will be loved. In the same way that we are comforted by the God of all comfort, we are able to comfort those in all affliction because we know who He is and what He's done for us.

Since being a leader, I've been able to see how God works through simply having fun and enjoying life with one another.

This year, I get to raise money towards providing those spaces, the times when we have had slip and slides, proms, weird skits, worship, campfires, weekend camps, football games, skatepark trips, game nights, quesadillas nights, and ultimate frisbee. If you feel like you might be able to help financially in any way, it would mean the world to me!
