Hello everyone, I am starting this for my new friend Davey Wright. He was the kayaker I found treading water for hours in the pitch black night in Ft Pierce Florida. Davey found me after the short TikTok video I took went viral. It was not meant to be so big. I simply took a short video of him on the swim platform after rescuing him for my safety…
After hearing Davey’s story from the previous events of that night I realized it was God and fate that had brought us together. Davey lost everything short of his life that night. Had I not come along at 4am and heard him yelling for help, I know this would be a much different and sad story.
Originally I wanted to start this page to get Davey a new kayak, fishing poles, and most importantly some new water safety equipment and a big whistle!!
Since Davey and I are both avid water sportsman our thoughts of starting a business to promote water safety and awareness have blossomed.
We would love to share our multiple personal close call stories along with raising awareness of water and boating safety. I live aboard my 40’ trawler along with my young daughters.
We are extremely safety conscious and want to help others understand how fast things can all turn for the worst on and in the waterways.
Anything you can give to help the cause would be much appreciated, help davey get back on the water & us to get our safety business going!!!
