It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Florentina Mendoza, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who entered eternal rest on February 5, 2025 at the age of 60.

Florentina was a nurturing spirit, whose life was a testament to the power of love and family. She radiated warmth and kindness, always ensuring that her home was a haven for anyone who walked through her door. Whether it was through her delicious meals or her comforting presence, she possessed a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and cherished.

As a mother to her beloved children and a doting grandmother to her adoring grandchildren, Florentina poured her heart and soul into her family. Everything she did was rooted in love, with a fierce dedication to their happiness and well-being. She taught them the importance of kindness, unity, and unconditional love, values that will forever resonate in their hearts.

Florentina's legacy is not only in the countless memories shared around her kitchen table or in the laughter that filled her home, but also in the strength and resilience she instilled in her family. She will be profoundly missed but her spirit will live on in the love she cultivated and the lives she touched.

Florentina is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin, her children Danryll, Karissima, Gino, and her precious grandchildren, Amerie, Isabella, Arsen, Callie, and Haisley along with a myriad of family and friends who will carry her memory close to their hearts.

A celebration of Florentina's life will be held on her birthday, February 15, 2025 at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada. In honor of her nurturing spirit, (for those attending) we encourage everyone to bring their favorite dish to share, just as she would have considered the joy of gathering around a shared meal.
