Hi my name is Salve Hernandez. I am fundraising for my mom Florencia Rioja (Mama Flo) who was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung Cancer September 14, 2022. She had her first Chemotherapy September 21, 2022. Her body has taken a toll. She is currently in the ICU. The doctors said her kidneys has stopped working, her liver is huge due to the cancer that spread from her lungs, she is on a ventilator which has reached maxed capacity, can’t breathe on her own, her blood pressure is low and is taking 3 medications to keep it up. My mom is in very critical condition and her heart might stop at anytime. My heart is breaking as I type this message. Everything is happening so fast.

My mom is a 67 year old, single mother of 3 kids, and Grandmother to 13 grandkids. She retired from the Navy Exchange in Guam and moved to Virginia to help me with my kids. Being duel military is not an easy task with 6 kids. Being in the military with kids in general is not easy at all. She has helped me and my husband reach our 20 year retirement in the US Navy last year.

My brother and sister is on the way to say their last goodbyes. Please if you can donate to assist us with my moms medical bills and possibly for funeral arrangements to also help my mom go back home to Guam for her final resting place. No amount is too small. Anything helps especially prayers for our family.
