Single Mom and Teacher is kicking ovarian cancer:
Florence Gehring, a high school Spanish teacher at Brighton High School and formerly Uintah High School was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 5 years ago. She's being treated at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and recently underwent her fourth cancer related surgery. Her recovery is causing an interruption to her teaching and means of income. She will be facing increased insurance premiums with Cobra.

Florence is one of the most passionate, gifted teachers I know. She also
cares and lives deeply to be close to her four sons. She's been diligently treating her cancer while unwaveringly working to fund her household as well as assisting college tuition expenses and missions for four sons. She's reached a crossroad where her finances will be interrupted. She's always the one who goes to bat for others. It's our turn to go to bat for her.
