Hi, my name is Florence Du, and I am thrilled to share that I have been selected to represent South Australia at the United Nations Youth Australia National Conference in 2025!

This incredible opportunity will take place from the 5th to the 12th of July, bringing together passionate young people from across the country to engage in important discussions about the international community. The theme for this year’s conference is “Galactic Governance: Navigating the Space Age,” where we will explore the economy and diplomacy of space and discover how it impacts our society and the way countries utilize and access space.

Participating in this conference means a lot to me, as I have always been passionate about being involved in important issues and raising awareness about challenges that impact our world. I have taken part in numerous UN Youth public speaking competitions and events, and I am proud to share that I recently earned 2nd place nationally in the UN Youth Voice National Finals for the Senior division!

However, to attend this conference, I need your help. The total cost for attending, which includes accommodation, transport, meals, and conference merchandise, is $1,650. This amount covers my stay at the conference venue, where I will be engaging with other delegates and learning from influential speakers.
