Flooding victims in lundwood

My parents and neighbour's have been hit by a flood. Their belongings and furniture are ruined. There is sewage throughout the property. This flood has devastated their street, homes, livelihood as well as the surrounding area. Due to previous floods noone could get insurance and the council refused to put in flood defenses as in their words 'not enough properties were affected' as a family we have and will do all we can, however a lot of people on this street dont have family, savings or any back up. They are having to live in their houses with sewage, no electricity and no help. Please help where you can. Some of us are lucky to be able to sit in a warm dry house. These victims cant and with help we can get them into other accommodation. Thankyou for any help.
