Flooding In Paoyhan
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Noah and I am raising funds to help my friends and the good people of Paoyhan in Peru.
The community leader, Chief Neil Rafael Cairuna has declared a state of emergency and is requesting foreign aid.
They have been displaced from their homes by catastrophic flooding on the Ucayali river and no longer have a place to live.
Already an impoverished indigenous community, their hunting and fishing routes have been cut off making subsistence near impossible.
All their crops have washed away leaving them with barely anything to feed the 200 families, including children and elders, which compromise this community.
All the money raised will go straight into the community to help provide shelter on higher ground.
The necessary fuel to reach the next city ( A 6 hour boat ride away) in which Food and Essential supplies can be procured to sustain their encampment.
Please consider taking a moment to donate.
Even a small amount will help!
Thank you from the good people of Paoyhan and myself!
