Flooding Disaster Relief Please Help

Debbie & Devon Nickle have worked their whole life to build their dream retirement home on Stump Lake, in B.C. They purchased the lot 18 years ago &
have worked continuously to build their dream home. They built according to the TNRD (Thompson Nicola Regional District) permits & well "above the flood plain".
They have been dealing with rising water levels from the lake & creek for the last 3-4 years, working day & night to save their home & property. Including but not limited to building burms, dams, running 9 pumps, filling & moving thousands of sandbags to save their home & property.
They should be enjoying their retirement which we all work hard for, & instead the water has now taken over 2 of their 3 buildings, & is also rising into the crawl space of their home.
We are raising funds as they have already exhausted their savings, & this will help cover the cost of more sand, sandbags, gravel, rocks, various other materials, & any other resources needed to save their home & property.
They have been asking for help from the Government & TNRD & have not been successful in receiving any aides or a solution to the flooding. They were told more studies are needed before they will assist or help fund improvements for the many residents that are experiencing flooding on the lake.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated as strength comes in numbers.
Please watch the following video links as it helps explain & shows the magnitude of the disaster they are dealing with.
