Hi my name is Onara, so Sri Lanka has just gone through a cyclone and many homes and schools have been damaged so I picked 1 school with huge damage to help build a library . Almost 8 feet of water across 3-4 days damaged. Principal of the school is has explained that out of 1700+ books only 300 was able to be recovered. The only screen they had to teach students on digital lessons is no longer working. As you can see the schools books have all gotten soaked and they are trying to dry it by keeping it outside. On the photo of the school front the blue line is how high the water came up to.

My intention is to rebuild the library for the school which needs the cupboards, new books and a screens. There are a total of 191 students in the school from years 1 to 11 with age group from 5-18. Students are also from different backgrounds with the school supporting children from the village orphanage. Total of about 40 students in the school are from the orphanage as I have learnt.
